SCHLAGE DOOR HARDWARE
If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you know that I don’t partner with many companies. However, when the opportunity arose to partner with Schlage, I was EXCITED!
I’m a bit of a weirdo when it comes to hardware as not only does it need to LOOK good, it needs to FEEL good (which is also why I chose my hubby). I went to Home Depot and Lowes and there were a few brands that didn’t quite float my boat. Schlage, on the other hand, had the look good/feel good combo I was looking for.
BEDROOM, BATHROOM & CLOSET DOORS
LATITUDE LEVER WITH CENTURY TRIM
While you can get this same combo in-store, I was ordering online (where it’s easier to see ALL of the options available) and chose the Latitude style lever with Century trim as I like the combo of clean and curvy lines.
While Schlage has a TON of knob options, I’m a lever-girl…
But like MOST online images, it’s way nicer to see things in action in a REAL home…
I chose the Century profile as my cabinets are a shaker style in the kitchen and the doors have a similar profile. There is a more square profile available, but I liked the subtle softness of this one…
As for the primary bedroom, because this is a property we’ll be renting out occasionally, I did an electronic lock so we can choose not to rent out the primary bedroom (I’m not a HUUUUUGE fan of people I don’t know sleeping in my bed!).
One reason I LOVE this set is that there’s no key to worry about and we can change the password as needed. We also have a similar set on the front door, but seeing as the door isn’t painted yet and is a bit of a hot mess, you’ll have to wait for those photos!
