I’m a sassy lil’ Ginger with a small filter, an unhealthy obsession with paint colors and design, and a knack for breaking down undertones (biases), LRV, and everything paint in a way that makes sense.
I’ve never been interested in magazine-perfect homes and unlimited budgets. While they can be fun, they aren’t how most people live. My favorite projects involve existing finishes, limited budgets, a few design challenges, and some creativity!
I believe good design (and good advice) helps people love the home they have, not make them wish they had someone else’s.
It’s easy to fall in love with a perfectly curated online image. A room with flawless finishes, perfect lighting, and professional photographer can make anything look amazeballs. But that’s not real life.
That’s why nearly every photo you’ll find on Kylie M. Interiors is from my Online Color Consulting clients, friends, readers, and myself.

My approach is simple: I don’t start with what’s trendy. I start with your home’s existing or future finishes, lighting conditions (interior and exposure), architecture, and your personal needs/tastes. The best paint color isn’t always the most popular one – it’s the one that works best for you and YOUR home.
