DesignShop Review: Is it Really THAT Awesome?

There’s a new Designer in town – you! Have you heard of DesignShop? Probably not. How about Material Bank? Didn’t think so. But I bet you’ve heard of Samplize – if you like it, you’re going to love DesignShop.

I’ve worked with Samplize and Material Bank for years, creating their popular BUNDLES program and happily promoting their Peel & Stick samples. This is a win-win for both of us, since they’re amazeballs and so am I (wink wink).

Now, I’d like to introduce you to their sister company, DesignShop…

WHAT IS DESIGNSHOP?

DesignShop delivers samples to your front door – the next day, including…

• Paint samples
• Flooring (wood, LVT, carpet, laminate, tile, and more)
• Countertops (quartz, laminate, granite, quartzite, and more)
• Cabinet hardware
• Fabric, leather
• Blinds
• Wallpaper
• Rugs, cabinets, and more

Your samples are delivered to YOUR FRONT DOOR the next day (Monday-Friday)!

No more visiting countless showrooms and suppliers – all of this is at your fingertips and delivered to your front door (it might even be sealed with a kiss).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Upon entering the DesignShop site (wow, eye candy everywhere)….

1. Choose your category, eg, TILE
2. Then, choose your type, eg, SUBWAY TILE
3. On the left side, clarify which color, size, etc., you’d like. Or just peruse and see what’s available.
4. Click on the samples you like and press ADD TO CART
5. Then, proceed to checkout and Bob’s your Uncle (which is weird if he really is)
6. The next day, wait for a knock at your front door!

PLUS, YOU GET ALL THE INSPIRATION…

DesignShop has you covered. With hundreds of expertly created palettes, everything from subtle to striking, YOU can create everything from a classic living room and spa-style bathroom to a magazine-worthy kitchen without leaving your home.

• Each palette has dozens of samples to play with.
• Order only the samples you want – order a little or a lot; it’s all in your hands!
• Rooms include kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, mudrooms, and more.
• Or have your own kind of fun by shopping free-range samples rather than premade palettes.

Sample smarter, not harder.

Design your home with confidence with DesignShop (and a little Ginger tucked in your back pocket).

HOW LEGIT IS THIS?

If you’re wondering how legitimate this review is, consider the last time you saw me promote a product: #hardlyever. Sure, I talk incessantly about Benjamin Moore, Ryan Reynolds, Sherwin Williams, and wine, but Lord knows they don’t pay me anything to do that – I pay myself in wine, Doritos, and personal high-fives (true).

And, of course, I have my SAMPLIZE PEEL & STICK, which is my ride-or-die.

If I’m here to put MY NAME behind a product, it means I believe in it – for you AND for me.

MY HONEST OPINION

If you don’t want to go into countless showrooms, scrounging for samples, this is your solution. It’s great for those with busy lives, who just want to see how the finishes look in their home – no muss, no fuss. Seriously, found a countertop you love? Order it – get it the next day. Wow.

Overall, I think the site could be a bit overwhelming for the average homeowner, with all of the options. I wish they had the sections a bit more refined for different styles (e.g., ‘the basics’, ‘the next level’, etc).

Let’s be honest, the average homeowner is just looking for subway tile and nice oak flooring.

However, for inspiration, you have endless options – you can create rooms and have fun with a mix of styles and finishes. It’s like being a kid in a candy shop for some of us!

Overall, it’s amazeballs. There’s nothing like this out there. If you love Design and want to play around, there’s a world of fun to be found on DesignShop.

While I could talk on and on…and on, follow me on INSTAGRAM to see more!
