Drool-Worthy Marble Bathroom Design
Partner Post: A Chef’s Dream – Marble and White Kitchen
I love marble. Now that’s not to say that I want it in my kitchen (I don’t like the maintenance), but as a bathroom product it is second to none!
This beautiful marble inspired bathroom was just a small part of a STUNNING new home in North Nanaimo – all that’s missing in these photos is a glass of wine…and me in the tub!
The 3 sided gas fireplace was used as a divider of sorts between the doorless master bedroom and the bathroom, so it could be enjoyed from all angles.
The free standing tub, the perfect spot to relax with a view of Pipers Lagoon.
Once you’ve enjoyed the free-standing tub and the view, you can then hop in to the walk-in for a refreshing shower!
The walk-in shower was created so that if the lip were removed, it would be wheelchair accessible as the homeowners wanted to acknowledge their future needs.
View the WHOLE home! Classic Style Home – Marble and More…
We created a pathway with the basketweave marble that started at the entrance to the bathroom, on past the tub and walk-in shower and right into the separate water closet (or to us non-classy people – the loo).
The basketweave marble pathway leads right into the loo – in case you get lost…
The dark wood vanity added some drama and contrasted nicely with the white and gray marble palette. Bling was added with a full-height mirror and crystal cabinet hardware.
And if you look closely, you can see a weee small puddle in the right corner…that is my drool as I LOVE this bathroom!
