A Gorgeous Gray and White Open Layout
While I’m more of a transitional gal myself, I’m SUPER pleased with how this contemporary open layout space turned out!
My clients built this home from scratch and wanted to stick to a pretty exclusively white, gray and black palette. This was to off-set their glorious original artwork collection as well as suit their clean and crisp personal tastes.
They really wanted to use their old dining set, to integrate it into their new home and even though the style is different, it integrates nicely using the 80/20 rule. (80% one style 20% another)
The coffered ceiling is UNreal and staggered throughout the varied ceiling levels from the kitchen to dining to living room.

Very pretty. Love all the moulding, and of course, the coffered ceiling. I know paint colors are your thang, but I’m always amazed at how you can pick the perfect shades. A percentage here, a percentage there–you do such a great job.
Love the grays and whites. What are the wall and trim colors please?

Hi Robin! The walls are BM Stonington Gray. And it was several years ago now and I don’t remember the white, but I would imagine it was along the lines of BM Oxford White…or nowadays I might’ve looked at SW Pure White.
