Easy Exterior Colour Makeover
This home was really in good shape and with its neutral siding, it didn’t NEED a complete make-over. However, the homeowners were tired of the lackluster palette and were ready for a change – so change we did!
The handy homeowner painted the exterior himself, saving TONS of money, and also took my recommendation to add wall sconces on either side of the garage. While it’s popular to have pot lights above the garage as it keeps the façade clutter-free, exterior lighting can be a much-needed finishing touch on a home, as was the case with this little gem!

How to Pick the Best Exterior Paint Colours in 5 EASY Steps
The fresh new colour palette complements the built-in concrete pad on the driveway as well as the orange-toned stonework (both of which the homeowner wanted to work with – rather than replace). We went simple on the body and gables of the home, for a fresh and cheery look and added interest with a darker toned trim for some personality!
We painted the front door to match the garage door (I say it as though I actually did the work myself – wink wink) – it’s nice to keep the palette simple and repetitive on a smaller front façade.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this lovely lil home! Thanks for visiting!
